Davis Motel

Overall we had a great experience at Davis Motel. It's a "mom and pop" type of place. The rates were reasonable. The staff was also very friendly. We did ask to bring our dog with us and that wasnt a problem. We were told however that one of the cleaners has an allergy so our room wouldn't be serviced until after our stay. It was easy enough to go to the front office and get additional towels/washcloths. The ONLY reason I'm taking away one star is because although the vast majority of the room was clean the floors (under the furniture) were not. My husbands phone fell between the wall and bed in the middle of the night and ended up under the bed. When getting on the floor to retrieve it we saw an old kinder bueno candy box under the bed, along with a few other small pieces of trash. Also the dust and spiders under the furniture. Even with that we would still stay at the Davis Motel again if we were in the area.

I was looking for a place to stay with a trailer friendly parking lot that was on the way to Pitt race. Normal I stay in the big chains but I decided to take a chance based on the many many positive reviews and I was not disappointed. As others have said while this is an older hotel the interior is very clean and the rooms have been remodeled. I was specifically a little concerned about noise since it's right next to the highway and has a lot of truck stops nearby. The front desk put me into one of the upstairs room and noise was not an issue :) I ran the fan all night and it was very quiet. I would absolutely stay here again!!!!

Price was great. Easy on and off the tollway. Everything you need is within a very short distance. Room was recently updated, extremely clean and comfortable. Woman at the front desk was pleasant, helpful and friendly. This place is a great value!!! I definitely be back!!!!

Its a mom and pap place for sure. Very friendly girl at front desk who checked me in. She did let me check in at 10a.m. She handle any questions I had and was very polite. Cleaning lady was an older blond hair lady, She came in and cleaned my room when I waited outside and was also very friendly and polite. My room was kept clean bed was made. I would definitely stay again.

The staff is friendly and amazing! They gave us gift bags on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for the night. The rooms were clean and everything was all for a really amazing price! Can’t beat it!

It's a truck stop motel in a decent enough area. I stayed in one of the extended stay rooms, which is large and comfortable, for 3 weeks. As far as the room went, it was a room. Didn't have problems with bugs or anything. What stood out about this place was the hospitality. The front desk people were all of them very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to be just overall good hosts. Gas prices in the area are great too.

Right off the I 76 it was an easy stop that didn’t detour us off our road trip. Basic rooms that were clean, well maintained and comfortable. The service was very friendly and the woman at the counter was a delight! Would 100% recommend.
